In 2017 I've made illustrations for the upcoming 6 Nations event for Dutch Rugby magazine RUGBY. Tijdschrift. My illustrations got posted on various social media platforms, some in the magazine itself as well. I have designed a different character for every competing nation, all the characters featured in the schedules en results of all the matches.

Since RUGBY. Tijdschrift had a predominantly Dutch-speaking audience, the schedule was according to the Dutch time.

I had to design three different characters for every country, one neutral, one defeated and one victorius. Before every game I would make two different images before every game, one for each outcome. It was a lot of fun creating my own characters based on the identity of teams and characterizations of the respective countries. All the images were hand-drawn and coloured. They also got later edited in Photoshop.
